As Nazi Germany’s persecution of European Jews intensified during World War II, a Christian believer in France established a movement that would ultimately save more than a thousand Jews and Allied troops from certain death. Pursued, hunted, arrested, and imprisoned, John Weidner devoted himself to saving others. Ultimately honored around the world for his heroic deeds, Weidner’s life brought glory to God as he gave many the gift of freedom.
